About Feral Wife

Welcome to Feral Wife, where "feral" means opting out of the rat race to live a life without the expectations and demands "Society" places on you. I am a happy wife who has suffered through decades of the corporate climb, the pay equity battles, and jobs that didn't align with my moral compass at the cost of my mental health and family.

Nope, I'm out.  It's not for me. Home is my habitat. Handling the cooking, cleaning, and chaos coordination while chasing my art and breathing life into creatures via drawings and scribbling books that might even be readable.

I love being a wife and mom to my family, especially alongside my Veteran husband who served in the Army, all while loving my country as a proud citizen. I don't want to be anywhere or anyone else, and society can't make me, not even through guilt, shame, or promises to "fit in." I'll stay feral, respectfully of course.

If chasing society's expectations feels more like living someone else's life, and you're drawn to putting family first, living in faith (respect to all religions), and defaulting to kindness because it's strength, not weakness, this is your spot.
